Pete Seeger held a concert in Delhi in the 1996. I was there. He was just this one man, his banjo and with his voice almost gone but he had the whole Siri Fort Auditorium on its feet. He also said something memorable–
“I believe that there are as many folk songs as their are folks!”
I loved the way he sang – “Where have all the flowers gone?” Pete was the harbinger for singers like Dylan, Martyn Joseph and others.

Pete Seeger always gave 100%. He did the same thing in Peekskill NY, site of the Robeson Attacks,” last year as my guest.
